About The Author
The first book of poetry, Beneath the Deep Surface, was published in 2006, but MelimeL's work has appeared in many publications since the age of 15. She is a graduate of New York University, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Media & Communication Studies. Aside from writing, MelimeL enjoys being a creative artist and mompreneur. She is of Dominican descent and lives in New York.
